Nice to meet you, where you been?

I'm studying political science and journalism at Brigham Young University, where I will be a freshmen this fall.

I like reading a ridiculous amount of books, writing short stories, slam poetry, Taylor Swift, playing soccer, Parks and Recreation, show tunes, red lipstick, spirited political debates, going to concerts, strong female role models, winter, and singing at the top of my lungs.

My current favorite books are As I Lay Dying (William Faulkner), Yes Please (Amy Poehler), The Goldfinch (Donna Tartt), The Beginning of Everything (Robyn Schneider), It's Kind of A Funny Story (Ned Vizzini)...this list changes constantly, so take this with a grain of salt.

I want to actually finish writing a book and become a writer for Saturday Night Live...and if that doesn't work out, I'll probably run for president.

My Hogwarts house is Gryffindor, as declared by the incredibly accurate Pottermore quiz. Go Lions, amiright?

My music collection includes Bleachers, Walk the Moon, Taylor Swift, Fifth Harmony (go watch the "Worth It" music video. My feminist queens!), Ben Howard, Ryn Weaver, Misterwives, James Bay, Lorde, One Direction, The Black Keys, Grouplove, Ed Sheeran, Daughter, The 1975, and much, much more. My music library is all over the place, just like me.
